Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica. After a meet-and-greet at the airport, a transfer takes you to your hotel to rest before the journey begins.
Overnight in San José.
Day 2
Full board begins today. Breakfast on the road, then the highway gives way to river as you board a boat at La Pavona and glide through the canals to Tortuguero. After lunch at the lodge, explore the village and its wild Caribbean beach.

Day 3
A slow morning, then an afternoon of discovery: walk the lodge's private trails and set out by boat through the canal system, where monkeys, caimans and tropical birds appear at every bend. All meals included.

Day 4
After breakfast, leave the canals behind. Lunch is served along the way before our team takes you to the lush river country of Sarapiquí.

Day 5
A free day surrounded by rivers and rainforest. Rest at the hotel or add an excursion, from rafting to birdwatching.

Day 6
After breakfast, head west toward Arenal Volcano and its green, fertile plains.

Day 7
Your day at the volcano. Hot springs, hanging bridges or waterfalls can be added for an extra charge.

One more day to enjoy Arenal at your own pace.

Day 9
A scenic transfer: cross Lake Arenal by boat to Río Chiquito, then continue by minivan up to the cool, misty cloud forest of Monteverde.

Day 10
A free day among the clouds. Walk the reserves, visit a coffee farm or explore the canopy.

Day 11
Trade the mountains for the Pacific on a transfer to Manuel Antonio, where jungle meets white sand.

Day 12-14
Three free days on the coast. Rest by the ocean or add a national park tour, catamaran or sunset sail.

After breakfast, a transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home.
