Day 1: San José. Arrive at San Jose International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your Hotel in San José. The balance of the day is available for sightseeing in the capital city. Your Hotel: Hotel Martino or similar (1 night)

 Day 2, 3: Arenal Volcano. In the morning, pick up your 4-wheel drive vehicle at the hotel for your drive to Arenal Volcano area (approx. 4 hrs). Considered the most active volcano in Costa Rica, you will witness the awesome power of its eruptions. Also, as an option you could experience the hot mineral springs heated by the volcano, at Tabacon Resort, relax and explore the lush surroundings. Your Hotel: Arenal Paraiso or similar (2 nights).

Day 4: Monteverde Cloud Forest. Today, you will make your way towards the central mountain region, eventually ascending towards the Monterverde Cloud Forest (approx. 4 hrs). Home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Monteverde offers an excellent opportunity to spot several endangered species of birds, as well as the elusive Quetzal. Your Hotel: El Establo or similar (1 night).

Day 5, 6 and 7: Manuel Antonio National Park. Following breakfast, you will drive towards Quepos (approx 5 hrs) and the gorgeous Pacific coastal resort area, which borders Manuel Antonio National park. This section of the country features some of the most beautiful beaches, exotic jungles and breathtaking scenery in Central America. Your Hotel: Parador Hotel or similar. (3 nights).

Day 8: San José. Today, drive back to San José ( approx. 3 ½ hrs) for your last night. Your Hotel: Hotel Martino or similar. (1 night).

Day 2, 3: Central Pacific Coast (Jaco Area). In the morning, pick up your 4-wheel drive vehicle at the hotel for your drive to the Central Pacific Coast (approx. 2 hrs). After enjoying the short ride, you will arrive to an inspired fusion of dreams styles – tropical Victorian, neo-classical, magically metamorphosed to harmonious beauty ensconced in lush gardens with a horizon swimming pool whose edge melds with the sea below. Your Hotel: Villa Caletas Hotel (2 nights).

Day 4, 5, and 6: Manuel Antonio National Park. Today, you will make your way towards Quepos and the gorgeous coastal Pacific resort area, Manuel Antonio National Park (approx. 1 hrs). Day 1: Transfer to La Fortuna. Pick up at the airport or hotel in San José by our bilingual guide. Transfer to Arenal area (approx. 3 ½ hrs), home of the Majestic Volcano. Enjoy a short rest before hiking through the tropical forest trails at Arenal Paraiso. Overnight at Arenal Paraiso or similar.

Day 2: Natural Hot Springs. Spend morning at leisure. In the afternoon, join our guide for a visit to the famous Natural Hot Springs Spa. Overnight at the Arenal Paraiso or similar.

Day 3: Transfer to Pacific Coast and River Floating Trip at Corobici. After breakfast, depart to Flamingo on the North Pacific Coast (approx. 5 hrs). In route our guide will take you to the Corobici River for a nature float, excellent for bird watchers and nature lovers. Overnight at Flamingo Marina or similar.

Day 4: Snorkeling in Guanacaste. Today, we will spend the morning snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. Overnight at the Flamingo Marina or similar.

Day 5: Kayaking Trip. Today, we drive along the coast to enjoy a kayaking trip on the Tamarindo salt-water estuary. Depending on the tides, this tour could be offered on the afternoon instead. The rest of the day is for relaxing or exploring the beach. Overnight at the Flamingo Marina or similar.

Day 6: Central Pacific and Skyway Tour. After breakfast, we will drive to the Pacific Central Coast and make a stop to experience the Skyway tour. Overnight at Best Western Jaco Beach Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Horseback Riding at a Private Ranch. We will ride horses to explore the Pacific rain forest at a Ranch. Afternoon visit to the Carara Biological Reserve. Primary forests cover most of the reserve, which holds the world’s greatest variety of trees. Overnight at Best Western Jaco Beach Hotel or similar.

Day 8: Return to San José.
